Fast growing demand for career coaching
Of 2,300 people in the UK polled recently, 57 per cent said that, given their time again, they would choose a different career. Other surveys - from around the developed world - show that up to 80% of people would like to change job or career.
Many people who are dissatisfied with their jobs are looking to coaches to help them ignite their potential and discover a new and fulfilling career. They immediately see the value in investing in coaching in this part of their life. The demand for excellent career coaching is potentially vast.
And yet, helping such clients can be very challenging for coaches. In a very real sense, career coaching is unlike coaching most other issues. As a coach, you may have already discovered this.
Clients expect us to guide them through a process which leads to a clear result - deciding on a new career and having a plan for making it happen.
The Firework Career Coaching programme was developed and tested over three years by two ICF accredited coaches to help such clients - and it really produces results! Using the Firework programme, these clients find the work they were born to do. For the coach, it's professionally fulfilling, confidence-building and financially rewarding.
In early 2004, we began offering a limited number of experienced coaches the chance to use the programme. We run a one-day Career Coach Training which leads to licensing as a Firework Career Coach, plus full resources including a comprehensive career coach's manual. We also provide a CD full of additional resources and all assignments, ready to email to your clients.
As a Firework licensed Career Coach, you'll be able to help clients who want to transition to a brand new career and you'll feel fully confident in getting results and giving them value for money.
