Licensed Firework coaches

Hazel Martin

London

Based in SW London, UK, I work with SW or Central  London face to face as well as UK and worldwide clients virtually including Skype. Typically, I coach individuals in their 40s from the technology, financial, not for profit and charity sectors.

I help those who feel lost, confused, or stuck in a job they no longer enjoy and who want to make a change but don't know where to start, or what to do instead and who want a career that is meaningful, fulfilling and purposeful.

Hazel offers a comprehensive, structured career change coaching process, specifically designed to help you get really clear on what your ideal career would be so that you:

Paulo Alves

Strasbourg, Bas-Rhin, France

I've got a knack for working with passionate individuals who've lost that career spark. I get it—when your work loses its charm, it's easy to feel adrift and unsure of your next move. Having myself experienced career changes across countries, I'll support you in navigating these uncharted waters.

My coaching style? Picture it as a structured journey, but with a sprinkle of lightness and fun. I carve out a safe, non-judgmental space where we can casually dive into reflections about your career desires, capabilities, and what truly motivates you. I'm here to listen, and because I'm deeply curious, together we'll unravel the puzzle through discussions. I'll bring my unique perspective, shedding light on aspects you might miss, and nudging you to look in different directions.

Sessions mostly happen online, but if you're around Strasbourg, we can meet in person. I can do the sessions in English, French or Portuguese.

Emily Taylor

Sussex, UK

I work with people who want to make changes in their working life and are longing for greater fulfilment in their career. Clients have often been successful in their career so far, but now describe feeling stuck or at a crossroads where:

  • they want to do something that feels more meaningful or ‘right for them’
  • they want to regain balance in their lives or are facing changes such as returning to work after having children or redundancy
  • working out what to do next feels overwhelming; some have a dream but no plan, others have little idea yet, just not what they are doing now!

I also coach people in small/medium businesses or organisations who want to help maximise their own or others performance. I am experienced at coaching leaders and their teams on a wide range of goals including leadership, emotional intelligence, managing change, building confidence and self-awareness, MBTI and career development.

Christine Butenuth

London, UK

My coaching emphasis is targeted to individuals with undergraduate and higher degrees especially in science, engineering, mathematics and medicine who wish to use their undoubted intelligence and experience for "enterprises" that require an acumen and insight they have not had to develop either during their degree or during their career. This can include assisting them to develop their own business based on their personal strengths.

I like to have an open conversation with clients to help them help themselves, giving them the benefit of my experience along the way and encouraging them to think logically as distinct from "romantically" about their aspirations and potential, not forgetting the resources (personal or otherwise) upon which they can draw.

Monika Larini

Estonia (face to face coaching) and worldwide clients online

Many encourage people to step out of their comfort zone. I rather believe that people should make unknown situations more pleasant and interesting by expanding the boundaries of their present world.

It is indeed a matter of point of view: a career coach helps you find different perspectives on your work life that allow you to transform your initial conundrum into new inspiring beginnings, choose concrete actions amidst an overwhelming range of possibilities, and let your initial fear of the unknown turn into curiosity about what you will soon discover.

My coaching style has developed through the interaction between professional academic education and working in predominantly creative environments.

As a coach, I can be more supportive of those who see work as self-fulfilment and a strong part of their personal identity than just a way of earning a living.

Geraldine Locke

London and Global via Zoom or Skype

I specialise in mature career changers looking to make end of career decisions, and moving to a portfolio approach to life, pre-retirement. I coach both one-to-one, with couples and in groups.

I have a down-to-earth, common sense approach to coaching. I use a strengths based approach to helping clients facilitate their journey of self discovery, and help clients to be open minded and practical when facing the choices in front of them.

Majella Callaghan

Dublin, Ireland

I specialise in coaching women returning to the workplace and career transition.

My coaching style is a confidential, challenging, friendly, supportive, person-centred approach which is non-judgemental, encouraging and produces positive results.

Jo Painter

Bishops Stortford, UK

I coach:
- women who are lack the confidence to be able to make the change out of their current job into the career they have a real passion for
- women who struggle with self-doubt and aren't sure what career they are suited to
- women going back into the workplace lacking confidence after a career break

As your coach I would:

- Empower you to make choices and changes in your life and career
- Support you, with tools and skills, to improve your self-esteem and give you the confidence to achieve those changes
- Motivate you to ensure you have the resilience to complete your journey
-Challenge any limiting beliefs which are holding you back and enable you to replace them with positive beliefs

Kat Atherton

London, UK

I coach individuals who are on the hunt for more fulfiling work. I offer a structured and holistic approach to help clients understand who they are and what they want as well as a process for generating new career options. Encouraging clients to push themselves beyond their comfort zone to discover opportunities and generate new perspectives is the heart of what I do.

I'm based in London but offer sessions via Zoom – many of my clients are based overseas. Typically we'll work together on a weekly basis for a minimum of 3 months.
